    Privacy Policy

A short, honest summary of what pias.dev collects and why.

    1. What I collect

Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) and anonymised analytics via Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. If you contact me by email, I store the contents of that conversation so I can reply to it.

    2. Why I collect it

    • To understand which articles and case studies are useful.
    • To detect and mitigate abuse of the site.
    • To reply to your messages.

    3. Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. You can opt out via browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

    4. Third parties

Embedded services (Calendly, LinkedIn, Medium, YouTube and similar) have their own privacy policies. Loading their pages or widgets may set their own cookies.

    5. Data retention

Email correspondence is kept for as long as is useful for our ongoing conversation. Analytics data is retained according to Google's defaults.

    6. Your rights

You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me@pias.dev and I will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

    7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
